New Parent Support Group: Supporting Your Child's Recovery While Protecting Your Own

Supporting a young person through an eating disorder is challenging for any parent. For those who have their own lived experience of an eating disorder, it can be especially difficult. Old thoughts, fears or emotions can resurface, leaving parents feeling overwhelmed while trying to remain strong for their child.

This new 4-week online Parent Support Group has been developed specifically for parents and carers with lived experience of an eating disorders who are supporting a child or adolescent in recovery.

Together we'll explore practical strategies to manage mealtime triggers, communicate with confidence, establish healthy boundaries, reduce relapse risk and create a personalised wellbeing plan for yourself.

The group is intentionally small to provide a safe, supportive environment where parents can connect with others who truly understand what they're experiencing.

If this sounds like something yu or someone you know could benefit from, I'd love to welcome you.
