As we move toward 2026, I want to share a little of what’s coming next.
Self-harm + eating disorders (not talked about enough)
More presentations where:
Eating triggers punishment
Self-harm replaces restriction
Risk is present even when weight/bloods look “okay”
Neurodivergence ≠ lack of motivation
Especially relevant for:
ASD + ARFID
ADHD + appetite suppression
Black-and-white food rules from social media
Social media → food rules pipeline
Not dieting — but:
“What I eat in a day”
Protein obsession
Gut health extremes
“Low inflammation” fear-based eating
My work continues to centre on steady, thoughtful care — support that doesn’t rush change, oversimplify complexity, or disappear when things feel stuck. In the year ahead, my focus remains on working alongside individuals and families navigating eating disorders, disordered eating, neurodivergent food challenges, and the many layered ways food, mental health, and identity intersect.
I’ll continue to offer care that is relational, collaborative, and grounded in safety — particularly for those who may look “okay” on the outside while quietly struggling on the inside.
I will be accepting new referrals in 2026 and look forward to continuing to work closely with families, GPs, and allied health professionals to support continuity of care.
