Dietitian Diaries: The Nutrition Advice That Actually Helps

There’s a lot of noise around food right now.Perfect meals. “Clean eating.” What you should and shouldn’t be doing. But in my work, that’s rarely what actually helps.

Most people I see aren’t struggling because they don’t know enough about nutrition, they’re struggling because eating feels hard, inconsistent, or stressful.

The patterns become rigid, or chaotic, or both and over time, the body and brain respond in ways that keep people stuck.

This isn’t about perfect eating, it's about the small, consistent things that support your body, reduce food noise, and gently move things forward.

These are the principles I come back to every day in clinic- simple, not always easy, but they make a difference.
